These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RuleboardAI website and services (the “Service”) provided by RuleboardAI (“RuleboardAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully. A signed order form or master agreement, where one exists, controls over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing the website, requesting a demo, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of the Service
RuleboardAI is a workflow and automation platform for governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). It helps teams classify clients, scope and run structured workflows, score risk, and produce audit-ready documentation. The specific features available to you depend on your plan.
3. Not legal, regulatory, or compliance advice
RuleboardAI is a software tool, not a law firm, auditor, or compliance authority. The Service does not constitute legal, regulatory, audit, or compliance advice, and using it does not create any professional-client relationship. You remain solely responsible for your own regulatory obligations and for the decisions you make. Outputs from the Service are aids to your judgment and should be reviewed by qualified professionals before you rely on them. We do not guarantee any audit outcome, regulatory finding, or compliance result.
4. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is intended for business use by users aged 18 or older. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials and for all activity under your account, and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted;
- upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation; or
- use the Service to infringe the rights of others.
6. Plans and billing
Our current plans are:
- CompanyScope preliminary review — free.
- CompanyScope Snapshot (single-category risk report) — $500 per month.
- SecureScope — $500, one-time.
- AcquirerScope Buyer-Side Due Diligence — $500, one-time.
- Full Monitoring Bundle — $2,500 per month.
- Scale / Custom — custom pricing; contact us.
SecureScope and AcquirerScope are billed as single, one-time flat fees at checkout and are not recurring subscriptions. Paid subscriptions (CompanyScope Snapshot, Full Monitoring Bundle, and Scale / Custom) are billed monthly, in advance, on a recurring basis until cancelled. All subscriptions are billed monthly; we do not offer annual or prepaid billing terms. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. The preliminary CompanyScope review is free. Pricing may change on renewal with reasonable notice.
Subscription cancellation — 30 days' notice:You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time by giving us at least 30 days' written notice at support@ruleboardai.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle in which the 30-day notice period ends, and you remain responsible for fees due through that date. Your subscription stays active — and you keep receiving monitoring updates and deliverables — for the duration of the notice period. No partial refunds are issued for the current period. This notice requirement applies only to recurring subscriptions; one-time reports have nothing to cancel.
Refunds: All RuleboardAI reports are generated on-demand using automated analysis of verified, publicly available sources (including SEC filings and regulatory data). Because each report is a point-in-time snapshot compiled specifically for your request from the sources available when it is generated, all sales are final and non-refundable once a report has been generated. If you believe you were charged in error or did not receive your report due to a technical failure on our end, contact us at support@ruleboardai.com within 7 days of purchase and we will investigate on a case-by-case basis.
7. Intellectual property
RuleboardAI owns and retains all rights to the Service, including the platform, the workflow library, the RCPS classification model, and all related software and content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription.
You own your data and your deliverables. Content you input, and the reports the Service generates for you, remain yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate and improve the Service and to provide it to you.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be complete or accurate for your specific situation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RuleboardAI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RuleboardAI harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes will be subject to the state and federal courts located in New Jersey.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
